20/07/2010 - NIGHT VFR FLIGHTS FOR NIGHT QUALIFICATION!
On 20 of July 2010 our C172 planes SXASG and SXASV in close formation landed at afternoon at Mitilini Airport LGMT. During all night 12hours with both planes
were took place (VFR night local and navigation) in the entire MITILINI TMA. In order to obtain NIGHT QUALIFICATION (NQ) a PPL holder or a PPL student pilot
shall complete at least 5 hours flight time in aeroplanes at night comprising 3 hours of dual instruction including at least 1 hour of cross-country navigation
and five solo take-offs and five solo full-stop landings. This qualification will be endorsed on the licence.

The first "students" that obtained NQ with Mesogeion Aeroclub are our PPL holder Mouzakis Z,

01/11/2009 - THE FIRST LADY PPL(A) GRADUATE OF AEROCLUB MESOGEION
On 01/11/2009, Maria Konstantopoulou obtained the PPL(A) with Aeroclub Mesogeion. She is the first lady who obtains PPL in our school.

15/10/2009 - NEW CESSNA 172 FOR MESOGEION AEROCLUB!
On 15/10/2009, local time 16:55, our new Cessna 172 was landed at Megara airport. This plane is the same model with SXASG, that
is Reims Cessna F172M, has been manufactured in 1976, with slightly better flight performance (1-2Kts). It has
remarkable avionic equipment (2 NAV/COM, ILS, ADF, DME, X-ponder, Audiopanel, 4-place Intercom),
good airframe, refurbished interior, new propeller and standard fuel tanks (144lt, 4.7h). The plane has been brought from Holland (airport Lelystad)
to Greece (Megara) with ferry flight crew Rigas Iasonas (CPL/FI) and Tsopelas Ilias (PPL) only in 3 days through Belgium/France/Italy.

Our new C172 will be used by members both for private and for training flights at the price of SXASG, that is 160 euros/h, after a few
weeks period for maintenance, registration change procedures etc. The Administration Board of Mesogeion Aeroclub would like to thank all members
for the will and love for flight!
23/09/2009 - SXASG again at 160eu/h!
SXASG engine's run up first stage has completed very soon (in less than 2 months). The administration board of the club decided to
reduce the rent cost at the old price of 160eu/h. We would like to thank all members for the spirit of understanding during these
last two months.
12/09/09 - One more JAR PPL(A) graduate OF AEROCLUB MESOGEION
Mr Ilias Koulouzis on 12/09/09 obtained the JAR PPL(A) licence with Aeroclub Mesogeion. The skill test was done on SXASG with P. Tsolis as examiner.

23/07/2009 - SXASG is fully refurbished and rearing to go!
SXASG with new engine and interior is back at Tatoi after 15 days maintenance. The new cost per hour for C172M is 170eu/h.
April/May 2009 - 2 more new JAR PPL(A) GRADUATEs OF AEROCLUB MESOGEION
2 more student pilots obtained the JAR PPL(A) licence with Aeroclub Mesogeion: Simos Dimitrios (25/04/09) and Kabacinski Marios (16/05/09)

08/08/2007 - Our SXANR again in the air!
On 08/08/2007 our C150E SXANR came back at Tatoi airfield, after a long term waiting period. Extended maintenance works have been done in airframe and
a totally new engine has been installed. Our members may fly with it for 130eu/h DUAL, 115eu/h SOLO, 100eu/h PRIVATE flight.
May 2007 - Two more new JAR PPL(A) GRADUATEs OF AEROCLUB MESOGEION
During May 2007 two more student pilots obtained the JAR PPL(A) licence with Aeroclub Mesogeion: Vasilis Thermos (06/05/2007) and Greg Economou
(13/05/2007) managed to obtain the JAR PPL. Note that Vasilis obtained the licence only in a 10months period! The Administration Board of

24/12/2006 - SXASG at LGAV - El. Venizelos!
On 24/12/2006 our C172 SXASG landed at LGAV El. Venizelos International Airport with crew Kostas Karageorgos (Stud.) and Domeniconi P. A. (FI).
The training flight was started from LGTT Tatoi airfield and the total duration of the trip (LGTT->LGAV->LGTT) was only 1:15
"Contacting Venizelos tower… getting instructions for landing at 03 left. Yes it true, I am at the final! The landing is mine with C172 and my instructor
beside me. It is unbelievable… it is not far away what seemed to be only a dream, but now is the moment that I am at the final for landing at the biggest Greek
airport. Many thanks to my flight school, Mr. Domeniconi and all instructors who gave me the ability of living this grate experience of landing by my self the
aero club’s plain at LGAV…

01/07/2006 - KSINIDAKIS ARTEMIS - The 3rd JAR PPL(A) GRADUATE OF AEROCLUB MESOGEION
On 01/07/2006, Ksinidakis A. obtained the JAR PPL(A) licence with Aeroclub Mesogeion. He is the 3rd JAR PPL(A) graduate of our school
as he managed to pass all theory exams and the skill test on 1st of July 2006 at Tatoi Airfield with our C172 SXASG.

23-25/06/2006 - Rally Flying - TATOI
General Aviation Rally Flying took place on 23-25 June 2006 at Tatoi airfield. Athens Aeroclub was the operator
of the event. The participation was: 9 aeroclubs, 24 crews, 14 airplanes. AEROCLUB MESOGEION was represented by 3 crews.
The weather was very good, the route very interesting but problems were occured again at the execution of the rally as some of the GPS partially recorded
(at both our crews) the track.

04/03/2006 - First SOLO flight for the youngest student pilot of Aeroclub Mesogeion!
On 04/03/2006, our youngest student pilot Rigas I. did his first SOLO flight at Tatoi airfield with SX-ANR. Supervisor instructor was Kousathanas E.
Iasonas is getting 17 years-old on August. We wish him happy landings and be a holder of JAR PPL very soon.
12/02/2006 - First landing of SXACR at Tatoi!
On 12/02/2006, our new C150L SXACR of Aeroclub Mesogeion landed for first time at Tatoi. The plane will be used manly at Tatoi with cost 140euros/h
both for training and private flights of our members replacing SXANR that is grounded for engine replacement and maintenance.

11/12/2005 - KOUTSELAKIS PANTELIS - The 2nd JAR PPL(A) GRADUATE OF AEROCLUB MESOGEION
On 11/12/2005, Koutselakis P. obtained the JAR PPL(A) with Aeroclub Mesogeion. He is the 2nd JAR PPL(A) graduate of our school
as he managed to pass all theory exams and the skill test on 11-12-2005 at Tatoi Airfield with our C172 SXASG.

23-24/11/2005 - Theorytical Knowledge HCAA Examinations for JAR PPL(A)
On 23-24/10/2005 theory re-exam for the JAR PPL(A) was took place at the exam center of HCAA. Our club was represented
by 3 students, two of them manage to integrate the official exams, while all Aeroclub Mesogeion students succeded in every part.
18/10/2005 - A new C150L in our club!
The memebrs of Aeroclub Mesogeion can fly now with a Cessna 150L from Megara Airport! On 18/10/2005 the plane SXACR became a part of Aeroclub Mesogeion fleet.
SXACR will be used for JAR PPL(A) training flights too. Cost per hour 140euros.

02/10/2005 - GEORGOUNTZOS P. - THE FIRST JAR PPL(A) GRADUATE OF AEROCLUB MESOGEION
On 02/10/2005, Georgountzos Panagiotis obtained the JAR PPL(A) with Aeroclub Mesogeion. He is the first JAR PPL(A) graduate of our school
as he managed to pass all theory exams and the skill test on 02-10-2005 at Tatoi Airfield with our C172 SXASG.
Panagiotis' "gift" is 1:00h flight free of charge with SXANR. The Administration Board of Aeroclub Mesogeion would like to thank
all trainers that helped Panagiotis to learn to fly. Panagiotis, have nice landings!
02/10/2005 - PIPER SENECA II in AEROCLUB MESOGEION
The memebrs of Aeroclub Mesogeion will have the opportunity to fly with twin now! On 02/10/2005 the plane SX-NGA
PIPER SENECA II PA 34-200T did its first flight for Aeroclub Mesogeion. PA 34-200T is a twin-engine, 6-seat,
full IFR equipped plane. See more in "Our Aeroplanes" Section.

27-29/09/2005 - Theorytical Knowledge HCAA Examinations for JAR PPL(A)
On 27-29/09/2005 theory re-exam for the JAR PPL(A) was took place at the exam center of HCAA. Many problems occured
during the exam procedure and many students faced serious problems.
10/08/2005 - FIRST SOLO FLIGHT FROM WOMAN-STUDENT PILOT
On 10 August 2005, 15:55 UTC, the first lady-student pilot, Maria Angeli, did her first SOLO flight with SXANR Cessna 150E
at Tatoi airfield. Alessio Domeniconi was the Supervisor Flight Instructor of this flight. Well done Maria!!

13-15/07/2005 - Theorytical Knowledge HCAA Examinations for JAR PPL(A)
On 13-15/07/2005 the first theory exam for the JAR PPL(A) was took place at the exam center of HCAA. 4 students of our
club participated in the exams with very good results because of the very well preparation.

of our students started the PPL(A) training completing flight training...The exams of 25 May 2005 never happened..
09-12/06/2005 - Rally Flying - POLYKASTRO
General Aviation Rally Flying took place on 09-12 June 2005 at Polykastro/Kilkis airfield. Aeroclub of Thessalonikis was the operator
of the event.

25/04/2005 - Announcement for the Theorytical Knowledge HCAA Examinations for JAR PPL(A)
Just a week before the Easter HCAA announced that after 25/05/2005 all JAR PPL(A) student pilots can sit for the Theorytical
Knowledge HCAA Examinations. Almost 16 months have pasted that some of our students started the PPL(A) training completing
flight training...
19/03/2005 - TRIP TO AGRINION CIVIL AIRPORT WITH SX-ASG
On 19/03/2005 the first flight with "SXASG" registration for our C172 was a trip to Agrinion Civil Airport.
Very beautiful route, good weather conditions, and excellent hospitality from local aeroclub. See photos at the
corresponding section.

17/03/2005 - SX-ASG REGISTRATION FOR OUR C172
On 17/03/2005, our C172 has been registered to greek registrations as SXASG. Our C172 has now a new engine
(Rebuilt Overhauled) by Lycoming! In addition, extended works have been done to the aircraft for the issue of greek certificate of
airworthiness.

11/12/2004 - Installation of GAS STATION at Tatoi airfield
At 11 Dec 2004, 10:40 local the first refueling at Aeroclub Mesogeion GAS STATION at Tatoi is a fact!
With this installation (after 3 years of delay) refueling is done with safety and at no time, while both from barel
and the fuel tank we can refuel the planes. The cost of construction was very high but the Administration Board of
the club hopes that the number of flights during the next period will be increased.

26/11/2004 - The 2nd graduate of Aeroclub Mesogeion Training Facility
On 26/11/2004, Vassilis Stavropoulos, student pilot of Aeroclub Mesogeion, passed the skill test for the National PPL(A). Vassilis
made a great effort to obtain the licence and he managed to complete 45h of flight only in 2 months (October-November 2004) so
as his written exams validity not to expire. The administration board of Aeroclub Mesogeion would like to thank all Flight
Trainers who helped Vassilis to obtain the licence and success the skill test. Special acknowledgements to: Touliopoulos Serafeim,

23/10/2004 - The first graduate of Aeroclub Mesogeion Training Facility
On Saturday 23/10/2004, Antonios Dessipris passed the skill test for the National PPL(A). He is the first student pilot
of our Registered Training Facility that obtains the Private Pilot Licence. Well done Antonis!

09/10/2004 - BACK TO HOME BASE TATOI AIRPORT
Aeroclub Mesogeion has started flights after the olympic games flight prohibitions on Saturday 09/10/2004 at Tatoi airfield. Training
flights have also started. During the summer, there has been done extended maintenance at SXANR (cylinders replacement,
exhaust system totally new).
26/08/2004 - PRICE-LIST CHANGES - STARTING THE 2nd GROUND SCHOOL SESSION
The administration board of Aeroclub Mesogeion decided to change the flight cost of C150E (+10euros/h) and the cost of
ground school for new students (+100euros). In particular:
Cost for Cessna 150E SXANR: 120 euros/h
Cost for Cessna 172M OOSKG: 150 euros/h
Cost for PPL(A) Ground School Courses: 1100 euros (without books)
As for the C172, we decided to keep the same price although this plane has double service cost because of
the foreign registration.
28-30/06/2002: 1st Rally for the Champion, General Aviation, Dekeleia, Tatoi, 2002
On 28-30 of June 2002 the 1st Rally of the Champion of General Aviation has taken place at Tatoi airfield. Aeroclub of Athens organized
